Class Five Fly Fishing

"First Class on the Water"

The Glacier Region

Glacier 2007 Recap

Of the many places I have been a guide, The Glacier Region has the unique balance of qualities of seclusion and tremendous fishing opportunities within an truely majestic place.  Enjoy the jagged peaks formed by glaciers, large glacier hued colored rivers filled with migrating Westslope Cutthroats, and the wild animals that live in these mountains.

The Flathead River System

My guiding focuses on the Middle Fork, North Fork, and the upper section of the Flathead River bordering Glacier National Park, Montana in Northwest Montana.  There is a wide variety of activities in a famous part of Montana.  The North Fork starts it life in southern British Columbia and flows south through the mysterious North Fork Valley creating the western boundary of the park.  The Middle Fork receives its intial waters from the center of the Bob Marshall wilderness and creates the southwestern boundary.  Each river has it unique aspects and their own attitudes!  I am offering Full-day, Half-day, and the favorite Overnight fly fishing trips through Wild River Adventures!

Pricing:
          Full-day - $375
          Half-day - $275
Overnight - $300 per person per day*

*This is a wonderful option to fully experience one of the largest wilderness in the US.  All equipment can be provided with your comfort in mind.  Breakfast on the river, Lunch on the river, and a sunset Dinner.  There is always a chance to see the Northern Lights above!

The Elk River Valley

The Elk River originates from the Glaciers of the Elk Lakes Park.  During its journey down the Elk Valley, it meets up with countless tributaries creating roughly 90 miles of fishable water and world class dry fly opportunities.  This area is only a few hours drive from Whitefish/Kalispell, MT and has remained an undiscovered haven for majestical trout waters.

Pricing:  $525 Canadian (apporx $420 US)
             Includes lunch meals and flies.

Please Note:  Lodging and travel assistance are available as a free service.
Pontoon Boat Clinic

We have created an additional service for single person pontoon boat clinics due to a tremendous demand.  This is for people who have personal one or two person pontoon boats, and find themselves hesitant or not comfortable floating rivers.  The course entails the study of river currents, the proper oaring techniques, among others, and most importantly, on-the-water experience with a knowledgable guides to gain confidence! This course is entirely fishing focused - bring your rods!
